BOISE, Idaho—Mavik Ventures is proud to announce the official launch party sponsorship of Hackfort as part of the annual Treefort Music Fest held in Boise, Idaho, March 23rd-27th, 2022.
Now in its 10th year, Treefort is a five-day festival with hundreds of musical performances, art exhibitions, film showings, comedy shows, and insider presentations in the tech and creative industries.
To celebrate Boise’s growing tech scene of professionals and industry, Hackfort is an opportunity for creatives, innovators, entrepreneurs, and established experts to discuss topics including AI, gaming, and music production with breakout sessions, keynote speakers, and coding sessions.
“Hackfort represents industry trends and the growing tech scene of Boise which seemed like a great partnership to be involved with,” CEO Darren Koontz explained. “We want this Hackfort Launch Party to be a no-pressure opportunity to sync up with industry professionals and kick off all the upcoming exciting events part of the festival."
Held at the Trailhead center in downtown Boise whose mission is to, “provide a co-working space for entrepreneur created start-ups within the Boise community,” the Hackfort Launch Party will feature food, drink, and live music for attendees in a relaxed environment.
In addition, Darren Koontz will be part of a judging panel for the Hackfort Tech Challenge on Saturday, March 26th, in which entrepreneurs will be pitching creative ideas and ultimately a winner will be chosen to receive cash to get their ideas moving forward. Mavik Ventures is matching dollar for dollar the prize money to give additional resources for the winner and keep technological innovation moving forward.
The launch party will be held at 4:00 PM-7:00 PM MDT on 3/23/2022 at Trailhead Boise located at 500 S 8th Street, Boise, ID, 83702.
